Christmas Down Under

Being on the bottomside of the earth, everything in Australia is upside-down. For example, these decorations from my neighbourhood are topsy-turvy (more turvy than topsy).

  2. Poor Mini-Rob. I expect you're forced to spend most of your time floating around in the pool with a VB.

I think we're in the midst of a permanent heatwave that could last till late March :(

  3. Nah,

I've cranked up the aircons - at great expense to me!

I wonder how the Piara are coping ...

  4. The Piara menfolk at least are cool, having had water thrown at them by their ladies, as is traditional !

Have you seen the forecast for the next week?

    Saturday Min 19 Max 36
    Sunday Min 21 Max 40
    Monday Min 24 Max 40
    Tuesday Min 25 Max 40
    Wednesday Min 25 Max 40

    I don't think I've EVER seen 4 x 40s one after the other!

    It's insane!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Yes mini-Rob, exciting times ahead. I hope we all survive the heat.

  7. The man of the town has indeed survived my fellow friends. Alas, I was withering by the minute, quite like my plants as I could not sacrifice my own health and attempt to go out and water them. Our only hope was to drive miles and miles to friends' places and take advantage of their modern cooling device over there!

  8. Are you sure you're the ridgy-didge one and only genuine Miss Piara? Can you prove it by naming some of the plants in your jardin?

  9. I did not give them any names, that would make them too real and it would break my heart even more since they are all in heaven now!! *Snif*
