World Exclusive - Newly Discovered Orchids

Orchids. Unidentified. I will name them Baggy Pants Orchids.

Bungendore Park

Last week's expedition past Armadale to Bungendore Park yielded some decent orchid shots.

Muddy Moon

An early shot, with some colour still left in the evening sky.

Some clouds threatened to obscure the spectacle, but never got closer than this.

Blood Moon

With my zoom lens and tripod, I staked out a site on the hill above Lake Monger to capture a sequence of shots showing the blood moon. This is after the maximum of the eclipse, as the moon started to emerge out of earth's shadow.
